...I'm writing my first journal entry here on DA, about three years after I joined. (Though, to be fair, I've only been quasi-active on the site for a year, year and a half.) Highly doubt anyone but Megan will ever read this, but that's ok!

As any wanderers onto my page can see, I don't have any art up, and at the moment am not planning on posting any. Why? 1)I'm not an artist, although I can draw a wicked stick-figure.

2)I'm a writer, and I'm not really fond of the formatting this site uses for displaying written work. I'm not bashing DA or anything--I know that this site's emphasis is on other forms of art, and that's fine. 3)I have other sites I post my writing onto, and don't have the time to devote (in commenting, getting myself known to the DA community) that would be needed if I wanted anyone here to actually find my stuff.
(

Those who are really, really interested in seeing my original stuff can contact me; for those interested in fanfiction, I have my fanficdotnet link up.)
So, I look at art rather then post any of my own. I favorite often, comment less often (I only comment when I have something intelligent to say. I'm not going to leave any mindless 'omgkawaii~!!11!!!221!!' comments, and I'm not going to repeat something everyone else has already said), wander into the forums often, and comment in those forums almost never.
Also, I bother Megan a lot.

Other then that, I'm a college sophomore who daydreams too much and does productive work too little. If I ever DO decide to post work up here, my hope is that it'll be critiqued to utter death, because lord knows I need all the help I can get.

I'd hate you more,
But I don't have the energy.
I'd keep screaming,
But I don't care enough.
I'd break you down,
But I don't have the patience.
And I'd love you so,
If love were enough.
